EJIL: News!

On behalf of the EJIL: Talk! editorial team, I would like to extend our best wishes to our readers and their families for the new year. Hopefully it will be a bit better than the ones before it. This has been a very busy year for the blog. We published about 20% more posts this year than last year, and last year too was a very busy one. We had about 10% more views than last year. The number of submissions was also about 20% higher. Our rejection rate similarly remains high, with many otherwise publishable posts not making the cut for various reasons – we publish around one third of all submissions that we receive. Virtually all posts that we publish are unsolicited. (See also Dapo’s new year’s post from last year and this post on stats).
