Viljam Engström


Viljam Engström (PhD, Adjunct professor) works as Research leader in International law at Åbo Akademi University. His research is focused on international organizations/institutions in different settings and from various perspectives. He has long experience in teaching the Law of the United Nations. Recent publications include e.g: "The Paradoxes of Democratic Legitimacy in EU Migration Policies", RECONNET Blog, 7 January 2021, and "The IMF and Protection of Vulnerable Groups", in 89 Nordic Journal of International Law (2020).
