About/Bio

Vitali Braun is an engineer in ESA’s Space Debris Office. He supports operational collision avoidance activities, third party missions, re-entry predictions and risk assessments. He is responsible for the maintenance of ESA’s Meteoroid and Space Debris Terrestrial Environment Reference (MASTER) model and the Debris Risk Assessment and Mitigation Analysis (DRAMA) tool suite. He holds a Doctor of Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from the Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany.
