Tonmoy Halder is an LL.M. candidate at Khulna University, Bangladesh, and currently serves as a Research Assistant in the Law Discipline. He is a Co-Editor of the Law and Society Students’ Journal. He has received the Academic Excellence Award and participated in the 10th Annual Winter School organised by the Centre for the Study of Genocide and Justice, Liberation War Museum, Dhaka. He has presented at Macquarie University’s international conference Securing Justice for the Planet: Opportunities for, and Barriers to, Course Correction and participated in the workshop Where Human Rights Take Place: Spaces of Rights and Responsibilities Beyond Territory at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. His research spans public international law, human rights law, international environmental law, international criminal law, humanitarian law, constitutional law, and Critical Legal Studies.
