Thairi Nazareth Moya Sánchez is Professor of Public International Law at the Complutense University of Madrid. She holds a doctorate in law with highest honours from the Central University of Venezuela, a master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham as a Chevening Scholar, and was a fellow of the United Nations International Law Fellowship Programme in The Hague in 2011. She has also undertaken specialised training at the Kennedy School - Harvard University, the Hague Academy of International Law, and the René Cassin International Institute of Human Rights.
