About/Bio

Suryapratim Roy is Assistant Professor in Regulatory Law, Trinity College Dublin. He is the Convenor of the Constitutional Governance and Social Change Research Group. He lectures on Environmental Law on the LLB Programme and Law & Risk on the LLM Programme. Prior to this, he has taught climate law, economics of regulation and development studies at the University of Groningen. Before joining academia, he was a researcher with the South African Institute of International Affairs in Johannesburg and practised infrastructure law in the Mumbai offices of Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co.
