About/Bio

Dr Sofia Galani is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Bristol Law School. She has published in the field of maritime security; the law of the sea; terrorism studies; and human rights. She is the co-editor (with Professor Sir Malcolm Evans) of Maritime Security and the Law of the Sea: Help or Hindrance? (EE, 2020) and the author of Hostages and Human Rights: Towards a Victim-Centred Approach? (CUP, 2021).
