Nikolas Feith Tan

About/Bio

Dr Nikolas Feith Tan is a senior researcher at the Danish Institute for Human Rights and senior affiliate at the Refugee Law Initiative. Nikolas has taught masters-level courses related to international refugee law with three universities in Europe, including convenorship of the core law course of the University of London’s MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies. He is chair of the Refugee Law Initiative working group on externalisation and co-convenor of the Refugee Law Initiative Declaration on International Protection. Nikolas has acted as legal consultant for Amnesty International, the Danish Refugee Council, Migration Policy Institute and UNHCR on various aspects of international protection.
