Dr. Jean-Pierre Gauci is Research Fellow in Public International Law at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and Director of the People for Change Foundation. At BIICL, he engages in research on various aspects of refugees law including the EU’s response to the so called ‘migration crisis’ and the role of private vessels in maritime search and rescue.
