Dr. Juan Pablo Pérez-León Acevedo is a researcher and lecturer in law at the Institute for Human Rights of Åbo Akademi University (Finland). He is also a PhD Committee Member at the Political Science and Public Policies School of Catholic University of Peru and an NGO Consultant. He has served in diverse capacities at the International Criminal Court, International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and United Nations.
