Ivar Alvik is a professor of law at the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo. His main research interests are within the fields of contract law, tort law, administrative and constitutional law, as well as international law, specifically as regards the relationship between public authority and private rights/investments. He also has experience as an arbitrator and counsel.
