Giel Verhagen is a legal intern at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut in The Hague, The Netherlands, working primarily on Global Counterterrorism Forum Projects. He holds an LLM from Tilburg University and an MSc from Leiden University. His research focuses on the interplay between international criminal law and terrorism, specifically in the Dutch context.
