About/Bio

Sir Frank Berman KCMG QC is Visiting Professor of International Law at the University of Oxford. He previously served as principal Legal Adviser to the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office. He is a member of Essex Court Chambers where he practises in public international law and international arbitration. He has sat as an ad hoc Judge at the International Court of Justice and has been an Arbitrator in inter-State and numerous investment treaty arbitrations.
