Dr Birgit Hollaus is Assistant Professor at the Institute for Law and Governance at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. Her research sits at the intersection of domestic, EU and international law, with a particular interest in how these legal orders interact and coordinate with one another. She focuses on the articulation and protection of environmental and human rights across legal orders, and on the role of courts in interpreting, shaping and safeguarding these rights within an interconnected legal space.
