Daniel Augenstein, Willem van Genugten & Nicola Jägers

About/Bio

Daniel Augenstein is Assistant Professor at Tilburg Law School. A major part of his research is devoted to the relationship between international human rights law and economic globalisation. Daniel has contributed “business and human rights” work to national and international academic and policy fora, including the United Nations, the European Union, and various national governments. Willem van Genugten is Professor of International Law at Tilburg Law School and at the North-West University in South Africa (extraordinary chair). He also is President of the Royal Netherlands Society of International Law. Large parts of his work relate to business and human rights, be it in the form of publications, education or advisory work. Nicola Jägers holds the chair of international human rights law at Tilburg Law School. The focus of her research is on the challenges to the realisation of human rights that follow from processes of globalisation. Nicola is also Commissioner at the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights, the official NHRI, where a major part of her work concerns issues related to business and human rights.
